Senior Therapeutic Residential Practitioner
Location: North Ayrshire
Salary: £35,200 per annum

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Therapeutic Residential Practitioner to join our dedicated team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to children and young people.
About the Role
As a Senior Therapeutic Residential Practitioner, you will:
- Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
- Build positive, therapeutic relationships with young people.
- Mentor and support Residential Practitioners to deliver outstanding care.
- Promote safeguarding and advocate for the needs and rights of young people.
- Work collaboratively with families, social workers, education providers, and other professionals.
- Support care planning, risk assessments, and positive outcomes for young people.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
What We're Looking For
- SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) and HNC (or equivalent) meeting SSSC requirements.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in residential childcare.
- Experience supporting young people with complex needs and developmental trauma.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, children's rights, and residential childcare standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
