Live-In Personal Care Assistant
£1,200 per working week (£31,200 per annum) 1 Week On / 1 Week Off
I’m looking for a reliable, friendly and committed person to join my team as a Live-In Personal Care Assistant, working on a long-term basis in rotation with another PA (one week on, one week off).
This is a live-in role where you’ll have your own private bedroom, meals provided, Wi-Fi access and the opportunity to support me in living an active and fulfilling life.
About Me
I’m a 35-year-old man with Muscular Dystrophy and use a full-time powered wheelchair. I require support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, household tasks and getting out into the community.
I have a busy and varied lifestyle and enjoy:
- Travelling
- Theatre and comedy shows
- Football (including Norwich City matches)
- Animals
- Socialising
Because of this, you’ll need to hold a full UK manual driving licence and be confident driving my adapted vehicle.
What You’ll Do
Your role will include:
- Personal care
- Domestic and household tasks
- Meal preparation
- Driving and accompanying me to appointments and social activities
- Providing support to help me live independently
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
