Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Office Supervisor specialising in Jewellery Repairs to oversee daily operations within our jewellery and watch repairs office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, with previous management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a fast paced office and team. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards of customer service and security. Fluency in English. The Office Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating repair processes, analysing workflow efficiency, and supporting the overall success of our jewellery and watch repair services.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the jewellery repairs office, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to meet organisational goals
- Communicate effectively with clients, our workshop, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth operations
- Analyse operational data to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimise productivity
- Oversee customer service standards, addressing any concerns or queries promptly and professionally
- Manage scheduling, appointments, and repair orders to ensure accurate tracking and timely delivery
- Provide training and guidance to new staff members, fostering a positive team environment
- Maintain organised records of repairs, client interactions, and inventory management
Experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience within a jewellery workshop or similar environment
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience in analysing workflow processes and implementing improvements
- Previous experience in customer service roles within the jewellery or retail sector is preferred
- Familiarity with jewellery repair procedures is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for technical aspects
