Overview
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Self Employed Cleaner to provide professional cleaning services to a diverse range of clients. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to operate independently, catering to both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in customer service and cooking.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Manage your own schedule to meet client appointments efficiently
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and organisation within each property
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements
- Handle any special requests such as laundry or light cooking tasks as needed
- Keep accurate records of completed work and client preferences
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience or familiarity with hospitality environments
- Own reliable transport to reach various client locations
- Valid right to work in the UK
