Finance Director
Monday–Friday, 39.5 hours per week.
Salary Upto £60,000 DOE
We are a fast-growing refurbished phone company looking for an experienced and forward-thinking **Finance Director** to lead our finance function and support the next stage of our expansion. Key Responsibilities*
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and financial planning
- Manage monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and reporting for senior leaders
- Maintain strong financial controls and compliance across the business
- Oversee purchasing budgets, stock valuation, and margin analysis for refurbished devices
- Lead financial strategy to drive profitability, cost savings, and operational efficiency
- Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Procurement to support decision-making
- Manage relationships with accountants, auditors, banks, and external partners
- Ensure financial systems, processes, and reporting tools are efficient and scalable
- Support the board with commercial insight, risk management, and investment planning
About You
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader
- Experience in retail, electronics, e-commerce, or stock-based businesses preferred
- Strong understanding of cashflow cycles, stock management, and margin control
- Confident decision-maker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at pace in a growing, high-demand environment
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
