Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain our guest rooms and public areas. Working approximately 8 hours per week, you will play a key role in ensuring our rooms are spotless, welcoming, and ready for incoming guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Rooms: Thoroughly clean guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms between stays (changing bed linen, vacuuming, dusting, restocking toiletries, and fresh towels).
- Public Areas: Keep customer areas, hallways, and guest entrances tidy and presentable.
- Laundry Management: Wash, dry, iron, or organize kitchen linen as required
- Stock Monitoring: Keep track of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, letting management know when stock is low.
- High Standards: Inspect rooms to ensure everything is in working order and report any maintenance issues or damages to the pub manager.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Attention to Detail: Pride in delivering exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable with active, physical work (lifting laundry, bending, making beds).
- Communication: Friendly demeanor with good communication skills.
Schedule & Working Hours
- Total Hours: approximately 8 hours per week.
- Shift Times: Typically morning to mid-day shifts (e.g., 09:00 AM – 13:00 PM over two days), aligning with guest check-in and check-out times. Weekend availability may be required depending on room bookings.
