We are looking for an enthusiastic Drayman/delivery driver to join our team, based in Uckfield.
In this role, you will be part of a quickly-growing business and a passionate, determined team.
The job involves manual handling of Three Acre products including beer barrels, kegs and small-pack. You will be delivering to pubs and outlets all over the South East, and London. Fulfilling orders across the UK, via couriers and haulage companies. You will be also organising and managing stock, and occasionally supporting events.
Schedule:
- 8.5 hour shift (9am - 5:30pm)
- Part Time - Wednesday and Friday (this may increase over the next 6 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Three Acre Brewery products.
- Return barrels and keg.
- Manage the barrels and keg (Ullage, location, contents, BBE, quality on site, stock rotation)
- Manage, cleaning and maintaining the stock room/s.
- Picking and packaging.
- Face to face customer interactions
- Keeping the van/s in a suitable safe condition.
- Having great conversations with managers about our products and the story of our brand.
- Invoicing customer correctly.
- Giving customers the correct information on how to keep, and serve our products.
- Inspecting the storage of our products at the venues we trade to.
- Recording details on our CRM system (Breww).
- Pitching and running an event stall/ bar.
- Towing our mobile bar.
Desirable Skills:
- We are interested in applicants with delivery driving experience.
- Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Enthusiasm, charisma, great communication skills, and hard working.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail.
- Living within a reasonable driving distance of the brewery is preferable, but not essential.
- Having full UK drivers license.
- Experience driving vans
- Ability to learn and use a range of different hardwares and softwares (we use Breww, Ekeg, Google maps, DHL, UPS)
- Team player.
- A knowledge of the local area
- Physically fit.
- Forklift ticket and experience preferable, but not essential.
- Towing experience
- Over 25 years old.
Salary: £115 per day
