What you'll be doing
As a key member of the Housing Leadership Team, you will:
- Lead the development of our housing performance and insight strategy, ensuring data drives decision-making and service improvement.
- Play a central role in our improvement journey, helping us achieve our ambition of moving from a C2 to a C1 regulatory grading.
- Provide strategic advice and high-quality performance reporting to senior leaders, Members and Portfolio Holders.
- Oversee governance arrangements, ensuring effective scrutiny, accountability and delivery across housing services.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and customer-focused service design
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team spanning resident engagement, housing IT systems, complaints management, data and performance and regulatory oversight
About you
We're looking for an inspiring leader who can combine strategic thinking with operational delivery.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in housing performance, service transformation, regulatory compliance or business improvement.
- A track record of leading change and delivering measurable improvements in complex service environments.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working collaboratively with residents, councillors, regulators and partner organisations
- A passion for public service and a commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for local communities
