Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout the event
- Assist with event set-up, organisation, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell event tickets, merchandise, or additional services to maximise guest engagement and revenue
- Manage guest enquiries efficiently, providing information about artworks, artists, and programme details
- Support fundraising activities by engaging with attendees and encouraging participation in donation initiatives
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely execution of event schedules and activities
- Maintain organisational records related to attendance, sales, and guest feedback
- Handle administrative tasks such as reservations, ticketing, and guest registration with accuracy
- Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the organisation’s brand values
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, hotel front desk, or similar customer-facing roles is highly desirable
- Experience in organising or supporting arts or cultural events is advantageous
- Proven skills in upselling and promoting products or services effectively
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Outstanding communication skills to engage confidently with diverse audiences
- Experience in fundraising or donor engagement is a plus
- Familiarity with guest services within a hospitality setting will be beneficial
