Responsibilities

- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
- Take customer orders accurately, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance the overall experience.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organising supplies and ensuring the workspace remains tidy.
- Manage cash register operations, including basic maths calculations for transactions and giving correct change.
- Maintain an organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently by applying effective time management skills during busy periods.
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
