Quantity Surveyor (Social Housing, Planned Maintenance & Refurbishment and many more)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) + Performance Bonus
Join a Growing Construction & Refurbishment Company
We are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and well-established construction company delivering high-quality refurbishment, planned maintenance and property improvement projects across London and the surrounding areas.
Our client works across three key sectors:
- Social Housing (our primary area of work)
- Private Residential Refurbishments
- Commercial Property Refurbishments and Maintenance
The majority of our work is delivered for housing associations, local authorities and social housing providers, including planned maintenance programmes, void property refurbishments, kitchen and bathroom replacement schemes and general refurbishment works. We also undertake private residential renovations and commercial refurbishment projects, providing a varied and rewarding workload.
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who understands the commercial demands of the construction industry and has a proven track record within the social housing sector. This is a senior role for someone who wants to become a key part of a growing business, helping to strengthen the commercial function while contributing to future growth.
This is not a role for a Quantity Surveyor who simply prepares valuations and final accounts. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the commercial function, help identify new opportunities, support framework applications and tender submissions, and contribute towards winning new business.
If you do not have demonstrable experience working within social housing planned maintenance, voids or refurbishment contracts, please do not apply.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from tender stage through to final account while working closely with Directors, Project Managers and operational teams.
You will play an important role in protecting profitability, improving commercial systems and helping the business secure new contracts across the social housing, private residential and commercial sectors.
Alongside your Quantity Surveying responsibilities, you will support business development by identifying tender opportunities, assisting with framework applications and preparing high-quality bid submissions.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to influence the future direction of a growing company and become a valued member of its leadership team.
If you've got what it takes, apply now!
