PAINT SPRAYER
Full Time Position

Lucid Creates are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable paint sprayer with a minimum of 1 year hands on experience to join a small yet pioneering creative studio. You will be working alongside a dynamic fabrication team made up of highly skilled welders, fabricators, carpenters, LED technicians and more to manufacture ground-breaking temporary environments and AV experiences including stages, structures and large-scale public art installations that are experienced by audiences across the globe.
ROLE
You will be a good communicator with a positive outlook who enjoys supporting a team and the ability to respond well to instruction whilst also showing good problem solving skills and independent thought. You will have hands-on experience in industrial paint finishes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spraying steel component parts with industrial finishes
- Ensuring spraying schedule is on-track within wider production schedule
- Preparing components prior to spraying
- Adhere to all production processes
- Adhere to all necessary quality standards set by production manager
- Ensuring spray booth and equipment is maintained to a safe and clean standard
- Cleaning of equipment to keep standards and operations fully functioning
- Working safely with the ability to problem solve and manage their time effectively
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Painting, coating & spraying machine operators: 1 year
- Industrial Painting: 1 year
- Minimum 1 years experience spray painting
- Knowledge of spray equipment is essential especially using HVLP
- Ability to work to deadlines, manage own time independently and prioritise work on multiple projects
- The applicant should be adaptable, flexible and have the ability to work under their own initiative but also liaise with other team members.
- You will be in the workshop alongside other studio members and will be expected to support the team with wider general workshop tasks
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Understanding of fabrication with metals, wood, plastics and variety of finishes
- FLT licence
- H&S Training
