Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our team, responsible for a variety of tasks within our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and be proficient and confident within the trade.
This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
The role is for a bench joiner but must also be willing to fit joinery projects on site which will range from 1 day to 2 weeks depending on size of project.
Responsibilities
- Machine, assemble, and install bespoke furniture such as kitchens, wardrobes and media walls according to specifications.
- Be willing to learn to paint spray
- Use power tools and workshop machinery safely and efficiently for various tasks such as fabrication and assembly.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required for moving materials and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects on time.
- Assist in painting and finishing work as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in joinery techniques and methods.
- Proficiency in installing joinery items such as kitchens and wardrobes (can be trained)
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
