We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Logistics Team Lead to lead our Logistics team and support the smooth running of our operation at WeBuyAnyPhone.
The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Logistics department, ensuring the smooth operation of the team and that all devices are received, cleaned, processed and shipped within required timeframes. The role plays a key part in maintaining excellent customer service levels and supporting our relationships with third-party sales channels.
The Details:
Location - Fully office based in Whiteley, Hampshire (near Solent Hotel)
Hours - Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (no evenings, weekends or bank holidays!)
Salary - £27,000 per year
Your role will involve (but is not limited to):
- Lead the day-to-day running of the Logistics department, ensuring priorities are managed effectively and daily targets are achieved.
- Support and guide the Logistics team, providing direction, answering employee queries and helping to resolve issues as they arise.
- Allocate and adapt workloads throughout the day to ensure devices are processed and shipped within required timeframes.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, support quarterly performance reviews and help develop team members through coaching and feedback.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and ways of working within the department.
- Work closely with internal departments and external delivery partners to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Lead by example, promoting accountability, teamwork and high standards across the department.

You're the person we are looking for if:
- Someone who can lead by example and support the team in a busy operational environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet daily deadlines.
- A confident communicator who can build positive working relationships with colleagues across the business.
- The ability to make decisions, adapt to changing processes and priorities when necessary and remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence to act as a first point of contact for employee queries and day-to-day team support.
- An interest in helping others develop through regular feedback, 1:1s and coaching conversations.
- A proactive approach, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities to improve ways of working.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Previous leadership experience and/or knowledge of logistics operations
Desirable Experience:
- Proficient using systems such as Linnworks or Salesforce
