Join the Catherine Deane team as a Part-Time Bridal Stylist at our beautiful bridal boutique in Wapping, London. As a Bridal Stylist, you will play an important role in creating a memorable and personal experience for every bride, helping her find the gown that makes her feel confident, beautiful and truly herself.
We’re looking for someone warm, intuitive and driven, with a genuine interest in fashion and exceptional customer service. Bridal styling or luxury retail experience is ideal, but we are also open to candidates from other customer-facing backgrounds who have strong natural intuition, confidence, a passion for people and a desire to learn.
This is a flexible part-time position, with a minimum commitment of one weekend day per week (Saturday or Sunday), occasionally both, alongside some weekday shifts, particularly evening appointments. We are looking for someone to start immediately.
Duties
- Welcome brides and their guests warmly, creating a relaxed, personal and memorable experience
- Build a strong understanding of each bride’s individual style, preferences and vision
- Guide brides through our collection, offering thoughtful and confident styling advice
- Assist brides with trying on gowns, separates, veils and accessories and provide support throughout the appointment
- Develop strong product knowledge across our collections, fabrics, silhouettes and styling options
- Build genuine relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout their bridal journey
- Confidently support the sales process, working towards individual and boutique sales goals
- Follow up with clients where appropriate and maintain excellent communication throughout the customer journey
- Ensure the boutique is beautifully presented, organised and welcoming at all times
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to the boutique environment
- Support with general boutique duties and the smooth running of appointments
Requirements
- Previous bridal styling, bridal retail or luxury fashion experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience in customer service, fashion, retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment is advantageous
- A natural ability to read people, understand their needs and provide thoughtful styling advice
- Warm, confident and personable communication style
- Driven and commercially minded, with a genuine desire to achieve strong results
- Passionate about fashion, styling and delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently while being a strong team player
- Ability to work collaboratively and embody the values and spirit of the Catherine Deane brand
- Comfortable working weekends and weekday evening shifts
- Flexibility to occasionally work additional hours when required, agreed in advance
- Based in London or able to reliably commute to our Wapping boutique
