Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Maintenance Scheduler to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and optimize maintenance activities across our customers, ensuring that all jobs are scheduled in the correct months and paperwork is uploaded to our bespoke systems in a timely manner. A good telephone manner is essential as you will be dealing with Customers and Suppliers on a daily basis.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to use current process's and procedures to implement effective scheduling strategies that support our company's growth and excellence.
You may also be asked to help in other areas of the Company office admin from time to time.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules for Customers.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and management to prioritize work orders based on urgency and operational impact.
- Utilize management software and schematics to plan maintenance activities efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor progress of scheduled tasks, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate unforeseen issues or emergencies.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of work orders, schematics, project timelines, and maintenance logs for accountability and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance environment with a focus on scheduling or project management.
- Experience in planning and executing maintenance projects within facilities operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate across departments and document procedures clearly.
- Background in using CDM software tools for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to mechanical, electrical, and industrial environments is highly desirable.
