SIA Door Supervisors – Event & Venue Security

Gibbons Security Ltd is expanding its team in Telford and the surrounding Shropshire area and is recruiting experienced, professional and reliable SIA Door Supervisors for upcoming events and licensed venue work.
We have a mixture of large events, private functions and licensed venue shifts, with immediate opportunities available during August and further work available to suitable staff.
The Role
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
- Access and egress control Customer safety and welfare Conflict management and de-escalation Crowd management Licensed premises security Responding appropriately to incidents Working alongside supervisors and event management teams
We are particularly interested in experienced Door Supervisors who are confident dealing with busy licensed environments while maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence Previous security experience preferred Strong communication and conflict-management skills Professional and presentable Reliable and punctual Able to work evenings and weekends Able to travel to assignments around Telford and Shropshire
Current Opportunities
We currently have immediate August event and venue shifts available, including a large event requiring a significant security team later this month.
There is potential for ongoing work for reliable staff who perform well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00 per year
