## Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Grill Cook who can also assistant manage our team at our associated Greek BBQ takeaway located minutes away and also on the seafront. They would need to be self-motivated, trustworthy, honest and use their own initiative as the Head Chef works and oversees the takeaway and pub on a day-to-day basis. A Greek or Cypriot Chef would be ideal but equally knowledge of Greek cuisine would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be required to prepare delicious meals in a fast-paced takeaway kitchen environment. This vacancy does also require using a fryer and preparing and serving cold salads etc. This position could be seasonal or long term and part or full time depending on the applicant's preference and suitability to the role.

## Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled meats following established recipes
- Use the fryers
- Prepare and serve salads and cold sides
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained throughout the cooking process
- Operate and maintain grilling equipment efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen area
- Behave in a professional and respectable manner in our open kitchen.
## Experience
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a restaurant or takeaway setting
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used for grilling
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Certification in food safety
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
