I am a young and very sociable gentleman who lives with his parents, I like to be out and about as much as possible. I have my own adapted vehicle for carers to take me out in, requiring 2 carers.
I enjoy football and am an Aston Villa season ticket holder. I also have a season ticket for West Midlands Safari Park and Twycross Zoo.
I enjoy bowling and visit craft and garden centres.
I love sensory activities- such as hand massage, playing games and walks outside. I have a sensory box in the house.
I have a PEG through which I receive all my fluids, nutrition and medication.
I am unable to weight bear which means I am fully dependent on my wheelchair and other equipment to help move me from one place to another.
I require full support with all my personal care which includes washing, dressing and shaving.
I am unable to communicate verbally, however, I make vocal sounds to express myself.
I have a diagnosis of epilepsy and prescribed medication to manage this.
I have a colostomy and have had a right urostomy.
I am able to breathe for myself but I suffer with sleep apnoea which requires CPAP treatment for 12 hrs per day overnight.
