About the Role
We are recruiting Team Members for our Urban Pitta restaurant in Crookes.
This is a hands-on role that includes serving customers, preparing food, checking orders and helping to maintain a clean and well-organised restaurant. You will work closely with the rest of the team to provide quick, friendly and consistent service.
We welcome applications from experienced hospitality workers as well as people entering the industry for the first time. What matters most is that you are reliable, willing to learn and comfortable working in a busy restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customers with friendly and professional service.
- Take orders carefully and handle payments correctly.
- Prepare and serve food in line with Urban Pitta’s standards.
- Check orders for accuracy, quality and presentation.
- Keep preparation, service and customer areas clean and tidy.
- Follow all food hygiene, allergen and workplace safety procedures.
- Monitor and restock ingredients, packaging and supplies.
- Support colleagues and communicate clearly during busy periods.
- Carry out opening, closing and cleaning tasks when assigned.
