General Assistant (with Kitchen & Hot Food Duties)
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team.
The role includes a variety of general duties, with a significant focus on hot food preparation, service, and kitchen support, particularly during the school holidays when our food service is busiest.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of hot food.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
- General front-of-house and customer service duties.
- Stock replenishment and general housekeeping tasks.
During the school holidays, the role will involve a larger proportion of kitchen and hot food shifts, offering the opportunity to develop experience in a busy catering environment. There is also potential for additional hours during these periods to help meet increased demand.
We're looking for someone who is:

- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable and flexible, particularly during school holiday periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (experience is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided).
- Can work weekends.
