Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
You will be responsible for running your section, preparing and cooking dishes to a consistent standard, maintaining food hygiene and supporting the wider kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your allocated section during preparation and service.
- Complete daily food preparation and ensure your section is ready before service.
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to the required standard.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
- Help control stock, waste and food costs.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen.
- Follow food hygiene, allergen, COSHH, HACCP and health & safety procedures.
- Correctly label, date and store food.
- Support other members of the kitchen team when required.
- Assist with deliveries, stock checks and cleaning duties.
Requirements
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous Chef de Partie experience, or an experienced Commis Chef ready to progress.
- Good fresh-food cooking and preparation skills.
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure.
- Able to work daytimes, evenings and weekends.
- Available during peak seasons and Bank Holidays.
Hours, Overtime & Holiday
Working hours will be rota-based and will include daytime, evening, weekend and Bank Holiday shifts.
Additional hours worked above contracted hours will normally be provided as Time Off in Lieu (TOIL).
Full-time employees receive 28 days’ annual leave per year, with part-time entitlement calculated pro rata.

Pay: £23,296.00-£28,080.00 per year
