Wiltshire Tyre & Autocentres are looking for an experienced Tyre Technician / Tyre Fitter to join our busy Andover depot.
We are a family-owned independent group of fast-fit garages and mobile tyre-fitting vans, with depots in Andover, Melksham, Chippenham and Royal Wootton Bassett. We provide a wide range of services including tyres, wheel alignment, MOTs, servicing, brakes, exhausts and general vehicle repairs.

The role
This is a hands-on role in a busy workshop environment. You will be responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and fast-fit work safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while providing excellent service to our customers.
Main duties
- Fitting, repairing and replacing tyres on cars and light commercial vehicles
- Carrying out puncture repairs in line with industry standards
- Wheel balancing
- Carrying out or assisting with wheel alignment work
- Inspecting tyres and advising customers on wear, condition and safety
- Supporting the workshop team with day-to-day fast-fit duties
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures
- Delivering excellent customer service and representing the business professionally
What we are looking for
- Minimum 2 years’ tyre fitting experience
- Good mechanical / vehicle knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong time management and a reliable attitude
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Pride in the quality of your work
Desirable but not essential
- Experience with wheel alignment
- Experience with servicing, brakes or other fast-fit work
- Experience working in a busy independent garage or fast-fit centre
