D R Newitt are working with a close client in the Food Manufacturing industry who due to growth are currently seeking a Senior Process Technologist to join the team on a permanent basis.
On offer is a salary of up to £42,000 plus unique company benefits.
Key duties:
- To fully understand NPD process, lead all aspects of the NPD Process stage of product development, technical details of the plant and dairy.
- To manage/support processes development of product bases through bench, pilot and main plant development activities including hands on delivery.
- To create and maintain excellent working relationships with Customers and be the NPD lead for customer attendance to factory trials.
- Joint responsibility with concept Technologist for Trials/1st productions product quality, recipe and blend control, batch traceability and yields.
- To ensure that Blend sheets have Allergen and PPE information, Spec information included, detailed processing info on the specific ingredients, accuracy of information to drive right first time.
- To set up Trials documentation, request with IT and notifying Process Technologist, Request Trials on the Production Plan
- To ensure that Trial documents/Blend sheets are signed off with Operations/Technical Team and host pre-trial/launch meetings.
- To generate trial and launch reports to share internally and with the customer, any Trial/1st production
- Customer feedback is built into Final Blend sheet/QAS.
- Liaise with Artwork/Admin, specifications technologist to ensure all obtained info is up to date and critical paths are hit
- Creation of QAS’s and updates, trial taste panel coordination and collation of results.
