Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8.5-hour day shift)
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our production team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take responsibility for safe forklift operations, as well as general warehouse and production support when forklift duties are quieter.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move goods around site.
- Supply packaging and materials to the production lines as required.
- Transport finished pallets to storage and prepare loads for dispatch.
- Support changeovers and assist with pallet wrapping, labeling, and stock organisation.
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including order picking, stock checks, and housekeeping.
- Assist production staff as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Complete daily forklift checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Work safely and follow all site procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (Reach Truck licence an advantage).
- Experience in a warehouse or production environment.
- Flexible, proactive attitude – happy to help out wherever needed.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
