We are a small, family run business that has been trading for over 25 years, working in a very specialist and niche industry.
We take great pride in our work, our reputation and the relationships we have with our customers. We are a close-knit company, with one of the team having been with us for over 20 years.
We are now looking for someone to join our team and assist with the installation and removal of domestic and commercial heating oil tanks.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding job working alongside our team of experienced oil tank fitters.
The role is physically demanding, including digging, lifting, carrying and preparing areas for oil tanks.
- Digging trenches
- Preparing ground for oil tanks
- Laying concrete bases and slabs
- Carrying and moving heavy materials and equipment
- Loading and unloading materials
- Assisting with oil tank installations and removals
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Helping the fitters wherever needed to get the job completed to a high standard
You need to be someone who is happy to get stuck in and isn’t afraid of hard work. The job is physical and can involve working outside in all weather conditions.
No previous oil tank experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

Punctuality is very important to us. Our work is planned around customers and the team, so turning up on time and being ready to work is essential.
The initial role will focus on the physical side of the work and assisting our fitters.
For the right person, there is plenty of opportunity to learn and progress within the company.
As you gain experience, you can learn about oil tank installations, pipework, fittings, servicing and maintenance, with the opportunity to work towards OFTEC qualifications.
Full UK Driving Licence and own transport.
Ideally, you will be 25 or over due to our company vehicle insurance, but this is not essential.
