Nursery / Early Years Teacher
Location: Northumbria University Nursery, City Campus East
Hours: Monday to Friday, working on a shift pattern between 7:45am and 6:15pm to meet the operational needs of the nursery.
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Early Years qualification (essential).
- Minimum of one year's recent paid experience in an Early Years setting.
- Passionate about providing outstanding care, learning and development for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to delivering high-quality early years education.

Northumbria University Nursery provides outstanding care, learning and development for up to 96 children aged between 3 months and 5 years in an award-winning, purpose-built nursery.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and inspiring Early Years Teacher to join our experienced and supportive team.
The Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will:
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences that support children's individual development.
- Contribute to an ambitious curriculum that promotes curiosity, creativity and learning through hands-on experiences and real-life opportunities.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support children's learning and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Additional Information
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
