Freelance Academic Editor & Tutor
We are looking for high-achieving university students or recent graduates to join our team on a flexible freelance basis.
The role involves academic tutoring, reviewing written work, editing, proofreading and providing constructive feedback to help students improve their writing and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate
- Exceptional written and spoken English
- Strong academic record, ideally First-Class level or equivalent
- Studying or recently graduated from a writing-intensive or academically rigorous degree
- Excellent grammar, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and able to meet deadlines
Previous experience in tutoring, editing, journalism, student publications or academic writing is desirable but not essential.

Contract: Freelance / Self-employed
Hours: Flexible
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
