Property Care Services NW Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and genuinely multi-skilled builder to join our established team.
We are looking for an experienced all-round tradesperson who can independently complete a wide range of building, repair and refurbishment work to a consistently high standard.
This is not a labouring, skilled labouring, improver or trainee position. Applicants must have at least 10 years’ proven experience in the building industry and a strong multi-trade skillset.
The Role
The successful applicant will work on residential, commercial, insurance repair and refurbishment projects within approximately 25 miles of Aintree, Liverpool.
The work is varied and may include:
- Joinery and general carpentry
- Plastering and patch plastering
- Brickwork and blockwork
- Kitchen and bathroom installation
- General plumbing
- Wall and floor tiling
- Flooring
- Internal and external property repairs
- Full and partial refurbishments
- Snagging, finishing and making good
We do not expect applicants to be specialists in every trade. However, you must be genuinely competent across several trades and capable of completing a wide range of work without constant supervision.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 10 years’ practical building experience
- Have a proven multi-trade building background
- Produce consistently high-quality workmanship
- Be able to complete work independently
- Understand the correct methods and sequence of building work
- Be able to assess problems and identify appropriate repairs
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
- Communicate politely with clients, surveyors and other trades
- Keep properties and working areas clean and tidy
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have their own tools
- Be able to provide references
- Provide a clear employment and work history covering the last 10 years
This Position Is Not Suitable For

- You have less than 10 years’ relevant building experience
- Your experience is mainly as a labourer or skilled labourer
- You are only experienced in one specialist trade
- You require regular instruction or supervision
- You cannot independently complete work to a finished standard
- You cannot provide evidence of your previous experience
- You do not have your own tools or a full driving licence
