Role details:
We are seeking a Independent domestic abuse advisor to support our local authority client in the South East of England within the adults, housing and communities team
Essential Requirements:
- Experience supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, including those assessed as high risk.
- Experience within Children's Services, Adult Safeguarding, MASH, or Family Support Services
Duties include:
- Provide specialist advocacy and support to victims of domestic abuse identified through HRDA process.
- Manage domestic abuse referrals to prioritise high risk cases as well as maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth follow up actions based on multi-agency discussions.
- Monitor risks and evaluate outcomes that will benefit and support domestic abuse victims and survivors
