ROLE: Senior Account Manager – Water Treatment & Hygiene
SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000
LOCATION: Home based (Travel to south required)
We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Account Manager – Water Treatment & Hygiene to join our team. You'll play a key role in managing strategic customer relationships, driving business growth, and delivering tailored water treatment and water hygiene solutions that ensure compliance, safety and sustainability for our clients.
As the primary point of contact for your portfolio, you'll be responsible for customer retention, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a range of sectors.
- Manage and develop customer relationships, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant management of their water treatment and hygiene requirements.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within existing customer accounts and with prospective clients.
- Manage and maintain CRM systems, providing accurate activity updates, progress reports and pipeline forecasting.
- Conduct customer review meetings, contract audits and performance reviews, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Manage contract renewals effectively, ensuring ongoing compliance, customer satisfaction and commercial success.
- Identify referral, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the existing customer portfolio.
- Work closely with operational, technical and commercial teams to ensure successful service delivery.
- Carry out technical service visits where required, in accordance with contractual obligations and company standards.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Proven success in managing customer portfolios and delivering against sales and account management targets.
- Strong knowledge of Water Treatment and Water Hygiene services and regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting analytical service visits for steam boilers, cooling towers Legionella, closed water systems within ACoP L8 practice.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Gold-Vision, Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A proactive, commercially focused and customer-centric approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
