Duties
- Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment to handle large or cumbersome parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, update maintenance logs, and document repairs thoroughly for accountability.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with the work performed.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques for various repair tasks.
- Experience in performing maintenance routines and troubleshooting vehicle or machinery issues.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely while adhering to safety protocols.
