Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Dental Receptionist to join our busy and welcoming dental practice. This is a key front-of-house role where you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Process payments and assist with billing enquiries
- Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and organised
- Liaise with dentists and clinical staff to support patient care
Requirements
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred
- Experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an advantage (but not essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using scheduling systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
