Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and roofing materials
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs
- Fabricate custom roofing components through welding, masonry, or carpentry techniques as needed
- Use heavy lifting equipment safely to move materials and equipment on-site
- Perform routine inspections of roofs to identify issues such as leaks or structural weaknesses
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards
- Assist with other construction tasks such as plumbing or masonry work related to roofing projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing, construction, or related trades with knowledge of roofing systems and materials
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, and prolonged periods on-site
- Basic understanding of carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and masonry work beneficial
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to roofing and construction environments
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
