Night senior care assistant
We have vacancy for a Senior carer to cover holidays and absences.. Applicants must:
Have experience of administering medication.
A positive attitude and a person centered approach.
Have leadership qualities and be responsible for the delivery of quality care.
As Senior Care Assistant, you will be in charge of the running of the shift and be positive in supporting the people living in Amphion View and their families, promoting independence and dignity and enhancing the lives of people in our care.
As Senior Care Assistant you will:
- Ensure people's medication is administered as prescribed.
- Ensure the delivery of quality of care by continually assessing our residents needs and wishes
- Develop, review and update care plans to meet our clients changing physical, social and psychological needs
- Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors and family, and other health care professionals
- Promote high standards of care by ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and shifts run in a smooth and efficient manner
- Promote the Home in a professional manner, by becoming actively involved in raising awareness of the Home within the local community
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £12.90 per hour
