REGISTERED MANAGER — BUILD A CHILDREN'S HOME FROM THE GROUND UP
£52,000–£60,000 DOE + registration bonus | Polesworth, near Tamworth | Full-time, 40 hours
Most RM jobs hand you someone else's home. This one hands you the keys before the first young person arrives.
Spinney Cottage is a newly refurbished 4-bed home near Tamworth, registering with Ofsted for young people aged 13–17. You'll be named on the application, write the Statement of Purpose alongside our Responsible Individual, hire your own team, sit the fit-person interview — then run the home you built. Backed by a leadership team drawn from residential childcare, elite sport and military service, with clinical partnership support.
You'll need:
- 3 years' children's residential experience in the last 5 (at least 1 supervisory)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare — held, not working towards
- 3+ years' management experience and direct Ofsted inspection experience
- Practice rooted in PACE and Positive Behaviour Support
- Two references covering your last two children's residential employers
The package: £52,000–£60,000 DOE | £3,000 registration-completion bonus | annual Ofsted-outcome bonus | 25 days + bank holidays | funded personal development plan | pension.
