We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic Bar Staff to join our team. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively sports bar environment. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and cellar areas at all times
- Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing regulations
- Restock supplies and monitor stock levels regularly
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar and horsebox at the beginning and end of shifts
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Previous restaurant or bar experience
- Effective time management to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
