The Commercial Gas Inspector will play a key role in inspecting, auditing, and verifying the safety and performance of gas systems across various commercial settings. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Plant Room / Energy Centre PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) inspections
- Post-remedial and post-installation work inspections
- Investigating commercial and district heating systems
- Assisting in mechanical specification compilations
- Supporting data capture for feasibility studies and net-zero road mapping
- Gathering asset data for plant rooms and energy centres
Qualifications:
We are seeking individuals with a strong background in both domestic and commercial gas systems. The preferred qualifications include:
Domestic Gas Qualifications:
- CCN1 (Core Domestic Gas Safety)
- CENWAT (Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters)
- CKR1 (Cookers)
- HTR1 (Gas Fires and Wall Heaters)
- MET1 (Domestic Gas Meters)
- CPA1 (Combustion Performance Analysis)
Commercial Gas Qualifications:
- CODNCO1 (Changeover from Domestic to Commercial)
- COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety)
- CIGA1 (Commercial Indirect Fired Heating Appliances)
- CDGA1 (Commercial Direct Fired Heating Appliances)
- CORT1 (Commercial Radiant Tube Heaters)
- ICPN1 (Commercial Pipework Installation up to 35mm)
- TPCP1 (Testing and Purging of Commercial Pipework – Low Pressure)
- TPCP1A (Testing and Purging of Commercial Pipework – Medium Pressure)
- CEMW1 (Commercial Gas Meters)
- COCATA1 (Commercial Catering Appliances)
