Job Title: Qualified Practitioner
We are seeking passionate and qualified Practitioners in Education to join our team. The Qualified Practitioner will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of effective teaching and learning experiences, as well as providing pastoral care and guidance to children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging and differentiated activities that meet the diverse learning needs of children.
Support the implementation of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and learning objectives. Provide individualised support and intervention to children who require additional assistance with their academic or personal development. Promote positive behaviour management strategies and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment conducive to learning. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaboration to support children success. Conduct ongoing assessment and monitoring of children progress, using data to inform instructional practices and interventions. Provide pastoral support and guidance to children, offering advice, encouragement, and referrals to appropriate support services as needed. Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and collaborative planning sessions to contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices. Adhere to the provision's policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines, always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Contribute to the overall ethos and culture of the provision, promoting a positive and inclusive learning community.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Childcare Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
Level 3 or above in Childcare or Education, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role within an educational setting. Sound knowledge of educational theory, pedagogy, and best practices in teaching and learning. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with children and establish positive relationships conducive to learning and growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate children of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively in a dynamic educational environment.
