Work base: Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, decisive and resilient Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
MASH is our front door Service in Conwy, and this role will play a key role in safeguarding children and young people by ensuring referrals are screened, assessed and responded to appropriately. Working within a fast-paced multi-agency environment, the successful candidate will gather and analyse information, assess risk, make clear decisions and recommendations, and work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time.
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker who has post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection. The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures, experience of working with children and families where there are concerns regarding neglect, domestic abuse, child sexual abuse, exploitation and other safeguarding risks, and a strong ability to analyse information and make timely, defensible decisions.
The role requires excellent communication, assessment and organisational skills, together with a commitment to collaborative multi-agency working. Applicants should be able to manage competing priorities, maintain high-quality records and reports, and demonstrate a child-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner looking to further develop their safeguarding knowledge and experience within a dynamic and supportive team.
