We're looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the effective day-to-day operation of the Royal Hotel, ensuring exceptional service is delivered to every guest while providing strong leadership and support to our team.

- Supporting the Operations Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the hotel.
- Leading, motivating, and developing team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Managing guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Working closely with all departments to ensure excellent communication and seamless service delivery.
- Assisting with staff training, coaching, and performance development.
- Monitoring operational standards and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and hotel procedures.
- Acting as a duty manager and providing hands-on leadership across the hotel.
- Previous supervisory or management experience within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in hotel operations, Food Beverage, or Conference Banqueting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Proven ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a flexible approach to work.

The Royal Hotel was built in 1892 by R J Barrowman, and has proven over the years to be a figurehead of Cumnock town centre. The upper floor has 16 en suite bedrooms, offering excellent accommodation for every requirement. All rooms have their own unique style, due to the traditional layout of the building.
