Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Mini Cab Night Time Dispatcher to coordinate our fleet of vehicles and ensure smooth operations during night hours. This role is vital in maintaining our company's reputation for punctuality and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate night-time dispatch operations using transportation management systems (Cordic)
- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Monitor vehicle locations and status to optimise routing and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate data entry related to dispatch activities.
- Handle inquiries via phone with professional etiquette.
- Collaborate with the team to improve logistical processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in transportation management or dispatching roles is not required but benefical.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and logistics software, training is available.
- Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Good typing skills for efficient communication.
- Knowledge of local area routes is a plus.
