Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician role with GP Surgery
An excellent opportunity for a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join an established primary care pharmacy team, supporting medicines management across multiple GP practices in the West Somerset area.
The role will involve:
- Medicines reconciliation and discharge medication reviews
- Prescription and medication-related queries
- Medication monitoring and annual review preparation
- Care home medicines optimisation
- Medicines safety audits and quality improvement projects
- High-risk medication monitoring
- Supporting patients, GPs, pharmacists and wider healthcare teams
The ideal candidate will be:
- GPhC-registered as a Pharmacy Technician
- Qualified to BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Experienced in primary care, community or secondary care
- Organised, accurate and confident working independently
- A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
CPPE Pharmacy Technician in General Practice training will be required unless already completed.
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Part-time: 30 hours per week
