Nursery Early Years Practitioner
Location: March, PE15 9NT
Pay: £12.71 – £13.00 per hour
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week | 3-4 days per week

Your Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel confident and supported. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a fun, safe, and stimulating setting where children can thrive
- Planning and delivering play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS
- Acting as a Key Person and building strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Observing, recording, and supporting each child’s individual development
- Supporting and encouraging junior team members
- Working closely with Room Leaders and Heads of Unit to maintain high standards
- Following all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 qualification or above in Early Years or Childcare (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable, but we welcome applications from newly qualified practitioners and those looking to develop their career
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- A caring, positive, and nurturing approach
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding training, or willingness to obtain
