We’re looking for an organised and proactive Claims Handler to join our TUEI team. This is a varied opportunity supporting wholesale Property & Casualty claims within the London Market, primarily for risks based in the Republic of Ireland. You’ll play a key role in keeping claims moving efficiently while maintaining a consistently high level of service for brokers, underwriters and other stakeholders.
You’ll support the Claims team across the full lifecycle of claims, helping ensure timely processing, clear communication and accurate record-keeping.
- Setting up, acknowledging and reporting claims within agreed service levels
- Processing claim settlements and associated fees via ECF and directly with underwriters
- Instructing loss adjusters and solicitors where required
- Supporting the management of risks with large deductibles and self-insured retentions
- Updating claims records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Working closely with brokers, underwriters and colleagues to support claims activity
You’ll bring a solid grounding in claims handling and a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Experience within London Market claims, ideally in a wholesale business
- Knowledge of Property & Casualty claims (EL/PL focus) handling and ECF/CLASS experience is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload independently
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build professional relationships
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
