Converge is looking for a proactive, customer-focused, and driven Leasing and 1:1 Specialist to join our Schools team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional who is passionate about building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting schools with innovative 1:1 technology programmes. You'll play a key role in driving growth across the education sector while helping schools access sustainable technology solutions that support learning outcomes.
About the Role
As Leasing and 1:1 Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with schools across the Primary, Secondary, Academy, Multi Academy Trust, and Independent School sectors. You'll work closely with leasing partners, OEM vendors, Business Development Managers, and Account Managers to identify, develop, and deliver successful 1:1 device programmes, join leasing meetings and to find new leasing opportunities.
You'll be instrumental in increasing customer engagement, generating quality sales opportunities, and supporting the continued growth of Converge's education business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively identify and engage prospective customers within the education sector.
- Promote Converge's leasing and 1:1 technology solutions to schools and trusts.
- Work alongside leasing partners to uncover, develop, and close new 1:1 opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Account Management and New Business teams to identify growth opportunities.
- Review created quotes and identify any that do not have lease quotes attached.
- Arrange and coordinate high-quality customer appointments for Business Development Managers.
- Qualify customer requirements and gather detailed information to support successful sales outcomes.
- Build relationships with major OEM partners including Microsoft, Lenovo, HP, Acer, and Asus to maximise deal registration opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity within the CRM system.
- Produce management reports and maintain high-quality sales data.
- Work with the Marketing team to support the promotion and development of 1:1 programmes.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring appropriate escalation where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, management systems, and health and safety procedures.
- Support Converge's sustainability and corporate social responsibility objectives.
- Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required.
- Full involvement with all 1:1 Schemes, tracking orders made on portals, arranging stock.
