What you'll do:

Lead and support the Security Operations team, ensuring a safe, professional, and customer-focused security service is delivered at all times.

Oversee daily shift operations, managing staff rotas, shift cover, and operational priorities to ensure effective service delivery.

Support and develop your team through onboarding, training, competency assessments, and regular performance reviews.

Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and customer requests, ensuring appropriate action is taken and stakeholders are kept informed.

Monitor and operate CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, and other security technologies to protect people, property, and assets.

Carry out site patrols, perimeter inspections, and car park checks to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Manage visitor and contractor access, ensuring inductions, bookings, and security procedures are completed accurately.

Maintain accurate security records, incident reports, health & safety documentation, and operational logs.

Support compliance by maintaining SIA records, coordinating safety checks, and ensuring all procedures meet company and statutory requirements.

Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, emergency services, and colleagues across the site.

Promote a positive Health & Safety culture by identifying risks, reporting hazards, and supporting continuous improvement.

Lead by example, delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest professional and operational standards.
What you'll bring:
-
Previous experience in a security supervisory or team leader role within a corporate, industrial, manufacturing, or facilities management environment.

A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence is essential.
-
A current Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification is desirable.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with clients, contractors, emergency services, and colleagues.

Experience using CCTV, access control systems, fire alarm systems, and security reporting systems.

Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office and operational systems.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage rotas, incidents, and multiple priorities.

A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
-
A flexible approach to working shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
-
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
