Key Responsibilities of the post:
Board Support
- Provide comprehensive PA support to the Board of Directors, including diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and document preparation.
- Schedule and support Board and ELT meetings, including agenda planning, minute-taking, and follow-up on actions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, including board documentation such as reports and decision logs.
- Provide governance administration support, including coordinating the submission of policies, reports, and approval requests for Board consideration and decision-making.
Executive and Operational Support
- Support the coordination and delivery of cross-organisational projects, working closely with service leads to track progress and timelines.
- Assist with drafting internal reports, presentations, and communications on behalf of the ELT, analysing and presenting data to support decision making.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of systems and processes that improve organisational efficiency.
- Work with executive leads to support the growth and development of individual service areas, helping to coordinate meetings, gather insights, track milestones, hold people to account, policy compliance administration.
- Coordinate and manage corporate events, including team away days, annual awards ceremonies, accommodation bookings, and other business-related events.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, supporting procurement activities and ensuring value for money. (might be more appropriate for Tina)
General Administrative Duties
- Manage key internal communications and ensure timely follow-up on leadership team actions.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed across the organisation, with flexibility to respond to emerging priorities.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Experience in an Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, or senior administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
Desirable:
- Experience working with Boards or in a governance support capacity.
- Background in a non-profit, social enterprise, or purpose-driven organisation.
- Experience supporting projects or programmes in a growing or evolving team.
- Experience in the use of AI tools that support productivity.
- Driving license/access to vehicle
Professional Responsibilities:
- Occasional travel to company sites in Huddersfield.

- Attend all scheduled company training days, team coaching, INSET Days and meetings as required.
- Attend ES Team Awards ceremony held annually each December.
- Undertake any other duties that may be required commensurate with the scale and function of the post
