Hours: 0800-1700 and regular overtime available

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking HGV Workshop Labourer to join our busy workshop team.
This is a hands-on role supporting our workshop technicians and keeping the workshop, vehicles and equipment clean, organised and safe. It would suit someone who is keen to develop their skills and build a career within the HGV/transport industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting HGV technicians with general workshop duties
- Cleaning and preparing HGVs and workshop areas
- Moving vehicles and equipment around the site as required
- Loading, unloading and organising parts and materials
- Keeping tools, equipment and work areas clean and tidy
- Assisting with basic vehicle maintenance tasks under supervision
- Disposing of waste and maintaining good housekeeping standards
- Following all company health & safety procedures
- Supporting the wider workshop team with day-to-day tasks
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Practical and willing to get stuck in
- Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Keen to learn and develop new skills
- Previous workshop, HGV or mechanical experience would be an advantage
- Class 1 licence and/or fork lift licence also an advantage
