New Concept Security provides elite safety and guest-management solutions for the hospitality and leisure industry. We are currently recruiting for a professional, customer-focused Front of House Security Operative to represent our brand at Stourbridge Lion, one of Stourbridge Bmost vibrant bars.
The Role
At Stourbridge Lion, security is about more than just safety; it is about the "Guest Experience." You will be the first point of contact for patrons, requiring a unique balance of high-level security awareness and exceptional hospitality skills. You will work to maintain a safe environment while upholding the sophisticated reputation of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Professional Welcome: Act as the face of the venue, greeting guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Venue Safety: Monitor the floor and entry points to ensure the safety and security of all customers and staff.
- Incident Response: Respond effectively to disturbances or incidents following set procedures, demonstrating sound decision-making under pressure.
- Compliance & Vetting: Conduct security searches when required and maintain a smart, professional appearance at all times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Kahiki management and New Concept Security supervisors to uphold site standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Licensing: Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months in the leisure industry or a high-volume customer service role.
- Vetting: Full compliance with BS7858 standards (must provide a 5-year checkable work history).
- Key Skills: Excellent communication, a proactive "can-do" attitude, and a calm demeanour when managing disruptions.
- Reliability: High level of punctuality and flexibility regarding shift patterns.
